Now GA! Enhanced shipping options integrated with Shopify Shipping Profiles

Merchants using Shopify Checkout Integration can now create and configure a Recharge-specific Shipping Profile in Shopify, giving them fine-tuned control over their subscription shipping settings, including:
  • Configure shipping rates to specific countries and regions to fit your business needs
  • Compatibility with conditional shipping logic based on price and weight at a cart level
  • Setting a distinct shipping rate for subscriptions, including setting it as ’free'

Enable your Prepaid subscribers to skip their next order!

All merchants that offer prepaid subscriptions can now enable a setting that allows their customers to skip prepaid orders.

Once enabled by the merchant, 

  • Customers will see the ability to skip prepaid orders in the Customer Portal.
  • Merchants can also skip orders via the Merchant Portal.
A skipped order’s delivery date will be pushed back by one interval based on the order frequency of the prepaid subscriptions. Any subsequent queued prepaid orders and the next renewal charge will be pushed back by the same interval.

Multi-currency presentment now supported for charge line item details

For multi-currency charges processed after January 24, 2023, all merchants using Shopify Checkout Integration with multiple currencies will now be able to view

  • the exact amount paid for charge line items (as reported in Shopify order details) and 
  • the customer’s presentment currency in which the amount was paid

The data will be viewable in the charge details of the Recharge Merchant Portal as well as exported reports (Charges - Processed).

Customize shipping rates with Shopify Shipping Profiles (Beta)

Merchants using Recharge with Shopify Checkout Integration can now create advanced shipping options for their subscription orders while leveraging Shopify Shipping profiles. This also allows merchants to configure their shipping settings directly within their Shopify portal.

Currently in beta, merchants can use this feature to: 

  • Set a distinct shipping rate for all subscription orders, including the ability to set ‘free shipping’ for subscription orders only
  • Enable conditional shipping logic, such as ‘price-based’ and ‘weight-based’ shipping 
  • Limiting 'free shipping' to certain regions/countries

Bulk reschedule charges, completely on your own.

In addition to being able to make other bulk changes, you can now use the import flow to quickly and easily reschedule upcoming and error charges. With this update, you can choose to reschedule charges (including all subscription line items belonging to a given charge ID) or reschedule individual subscription items, which can be helpful in the event of out of stock inventory.

Note: This is currently available if you use the Recharge Checkout on Shopify, BigCommerce or have a custom-built store.

See more details for prepaid charges and orders

You’ll now be able to see more details for prepaid charges and orders. In the Customer details and Subscription details pages, you’ll see information like charge details for the entire prepaid cycle as well as details specific to the shipment the customer will receive on the given date.

With this information more easily accessible, you’ll be able to see more holistic data and perform more targeted actions for your customers.

Decrease customer churn by up to 10% through the pause subscription feature

You can now enable a setting that allows your customers to pause a subscription instead of canceling. Customers who click ‘cancel’ from within the customer portal will be met with a pop-up asking them if they would prefer to pause their subscriptions instead.
