New Klaviyo Metric! - 'Subscription paused in Recharge'

All merchants who have enabled the setting 'Pause as a retention step before cancel' now have access to a new Klaviyo metric - 'Subscription paused in Recharge'.

This metric, alongside the many other metrics and properties we send to Klaviyo, allows merchants to set up targeted email campaigns and flows, specifically designed for paused customers.

Create more custom experiences with passwordless login enhancements

With new enhancements to this feature, you can now enable and disable SMS and email channels separately as well as use communication template customization options. The Recharge login widget page can now be used as the default login experience for all your customers and they can have direct access to the customer portal from the post-checkout order status page

This feature makes it easier for your customers to manage their subscription, reducing customer churn and customer support tickets.

Bulk reschedule charges, completely on your own.

In addition to being able to make other bulk changes, you can now use the import flow to quickly and easily reschedule upcoming and error charges. With this update, you can choose to reschedule charges (including all subscription line items belonging to a given charge ID) or reschedule individual subscription items, which can be helpful in the event of out of stock inventory.

Save time on order and charge reconciliation with cart attributes

Cart attributes are additional pieces of information about an order. You will now see more cart attributes that make it simpler to reconcile orders and charges between Shopify and your payment gateway. Since this update adds the same IDs to both orders and charges, you’ll be able to save time every month reconciling data, and spend that time on things that matter most to your business.

This is available now for Recharge Checkout on Shopify, Recharge Checkout on BigCommerce and custom stores with support for Shopify Checkout Integration on the way.

Optimized dunning logic to reduce passive churn

Moving forward only payment related issues, not insufficient inventory, will be counted as charge attempts and go through the dunning process. Meanwhile, your customer orders with inventory errors will continue to be automatically retried. This gives your customers a better chance of receiving their products once inventory is back in stock, rather than being passively churned through the dunning process.
